Kristen Byrne is an artist and activist based out of the D.M.V. area. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Drawing and Painting from the Pennsylvania State University in December 2021. She currently lives and works in Northern Virginia.

Kristen's work is a visual manifestation of her experiences as a Puerto Rican woman in the United States of America. With the desire to learn more about the intersection of art and politics, and how art can be used as a form of activism, she examines issues both personally and nationally.
